Sagano is an area located in western Kyoto, Japan, where the serene landscape includes one of the most spectacular bamboo forests in all of Japan. This textured scarf-sized shawl evokes the quiet beauty of bamboo in its leafy main stitch and stem like ribbed edging. Use a special, soft yarn and keep the drafts away!

Size
46 inches / 116 cm across the top, 15 inches / 38 cm down the center of the shawl. The size of this scarf is easily modified to be larger by using a heavier yarn or working more repeats.

Both charted and written directions.

DISCLAIMER:  Each skein & roving are handpainted individually, so skeins may not always match, even within the same dye session. If you are concerned about "pooling", you can always alternate knitting with the two ends of the skein — this will help mix up the colours a little more.

Each picture is taken captivate the intensity of my hand dyes colors for your viewing pleasure but because of the different monitor pixels and settings.  The colors you see may not be the colors that I see but I promise you that my hand dyes are even better in person.  Thanks
