A pretty diagonal lace pattern winds down the leg and over the top of the foot in these dressy top-down socks for three sizes. Knit with a fine yarn for a thinner fabric, these will feel closer to a stocking or trouser sock, but with a cozy warmth and sturdiness for all-day wear.

substitute yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.

 

Fingering / 3 ply

Gauge:  34 stitches and 50 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Needle size:  US 1 / 2.25 mm

Yardage:  325 - 425 yards

DISCLAIMER:  Each skein & roving are handpainted individually, so skeins may not always match, even within the same dye session. If you are concerned about "pooling", you can always alternate knitting with the two ends of the skein — this will help mix up the colours a little more.
